The Team at Eagle Medical

Dr. Amanda is an experienced specialist GP who works primarily in Mental Health. She is a GP Lead at headspace and has been employed by the national not-for-profit organisation for over eight years. 

 

Dr. Amanda has previously worked as a Visiting Medical Officer in youth detention, providing health care services to incarcerated youth.

 

She has worked as a Senior Medical Officer for local, regional and remote Aboriginal Medical Services as far afield as Arnhem Land, Doomadgee and Mount Isa.

 

Alongside her mental health work, she also currently works as a Medical Investigator in clinical trials, which allows her to keep abreast of new developments for the management of a variety of physical and mental health conditions.
